Service with Ames Microplate Format - Ames MPF 98/100 Aqua: The assay uses liquid media and 384well microplates with a readout based on a colour change. It has been used for over 10 years at several environmental agencies, universities or authorities for screening of genotoxic potential of environmental samples such as water, waste water (ISO11350), soil, air samples or extraction solutions of medical devices. The Ames MPF 98/100 Aqua has been designed to screen for mutagenic compounds or mixtures which should/cannot not be diluted.

The Assay is run with TA98 and TA100 in compliance with ISO11350 guideline for water samples or in compliance with ISO10993 for medical devices. Correlation between the Ames MPF System and the agar plate Ames preincubation method is excellent shown in the significant number of publications.
